14A Halfway Reflection

1. One important aspect of this course is good time management. College is very busy and this class has assignments due every week and if you don't manage your time well you will miss an assignment or two.

2. I was doing poorly my second and third semester at UF and I thought about switching majors or even taking a year off college to get away from the stress, but instead I stuck with it and put my head down spring last year and fixed my GPA with a 3.77 across 18 credits.

3. tip one: Get homework out of the way early. It's easier to just do it than to keep putting it off.
tip two: Get involved on campus. The only way to get better at time management is to fill your schedule
tip three: 4 Years isn't a long time don't waste it.

  1. Connor,
You did a very good job with this post. You made very good points about time management. I think you have very helpful tips, I might start using them for the rest of the semester. My favorite tip is probably tip number 3 because I am starting to realize how little time I have left and it's kind of making me sad.

  2. Connor,
I think you made a great point by emphasizing time management. I also believe that it is very easy for students to miss one or two assignments. I think you gave a great example of not giving up on things when facing difficulties. I feel that get involved is the part that I should focus more on as a transfer student. Overall, I think you wrote a great post.

  3. Connor,
I greatly agree with your comment that the best way to manage one's time is to fill up one's schedule. I used to make up events and organize them to fill up my schedule and it definitely helped me become a more efficient person who could focus more on my work.
